Outreach is a huge part of SOFF.  We have had Summer Feeding Programs which was open for breakfast and did not close until 6pm, we have mailed donations to housing programs in TX, we have our laundromat ministry called Across the Street where we show up and pay for everyone to wash their clothes, provide snacks and arts and crafts to the children and so much more.  Do you know God can use your right where you are to serve the community and help others?  Look for opportunities to serve on the website and/or our social media platforms. We are excited with every opportunity to serve God's people and show the love of God to all.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Whether you are an eMember or an in person Member, there are always opportunities for you to volunteer.  You will need to take the New Start Orientation.  In the NSO, you will learn everything about being a Volunteer at Spirit of Fire Fellowship and how to start the process. We look forward to serving with you!

How do I volunteer with kids?

SOFF's Children's Ministry is dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children of all ages to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Through age specific lessons, activities and small groups, our children learn biblical truths and real-life lessons in ways they can apply it to their everyday lives.  Volunteers are needed to help create a virtual experience for our children until we go back to in person services.

How do I volunteer with creative media?

Every month, Spirit of Fire Fellowship Creative Media Team produces media to an audience of all ages. We are looking for talented, hard-working, proactive volunteers who are into animation, film, audio, graphic design, production or planning and logistics. Volunteer hours are flexible and depending on your role, you can be remote.  

How do I volunteer with social media?

The Social Media Team exists to help people feel needed and known on Spirit of Fire Fellowship social media platforms. It also exists to help with the mandate of "Go teach my people who they are." There are people within your community or in your circle that have and may not ever step foot in a church and social media is a way God reaches them. Help us get God's Word out on all of SOFF's social media platforms. You can serve from anywhere and at any time.
